We really need to take a look back...

When I see things like these...

Let me first say that this is not meant as an insult to anyone.
Some people may feel hurt by what follows, the point is not there.

Ok so jews dont eat pork. Why? Well it was a good idea when it was introduced in the religion. Pork was and still is an animal which can carry lots of diseases and pathogen to the human when consumed. But is it something that is still good. In my opinion, no. We have made great improvement to the way we handle farm animals, the way we can cure diseases and such. So pork is no longer very dangerous to the human.

I did some quick research and the only disease I could find that we can get from the pork seems to be Trichinosis which is a parasitic worm. Well in 6 years (between 2002-2007) only 11 cases were found in the US according to the CDC.

So.. I think eating pork is fine. Again this is not a comment on those who are of Jewish belief.

And then I saw this video which explain how the "politics" work in the "city of London" not to be confused with London the capital of England.

All this to say this: We really need to take a step back and take time to modernise our ways... somethings we do.. we just do because we are used to it... we need to re-work these.
