Is Greece on the way to be a new WW2 Germany

Assurably not that close. I mean I dont think they will ever build death camp, but there is a striking similarity to the pre-ww2 Germany and what is happening in Greece.

Before you jump the gun and burn me on the stake, read what I wrote.

When Hitler rose to power in germany the country was devastated, they needed to pay HUGE war reparation to other country that had been devastated by WWI. Unemployment was sky-rocketing and people were desperate an frustrated. Then came Hitler with his grand vision of a united Germany and well for a time his idea worked. He put germany back on track as a power in Europe. We know he ultimately did things horrible...

Greece seems to be heading this way.
Not the death camp way, but desperate time call for desperate measure.

Now we have a financialy desperate country who can't seems to get its economy back on track*.
When people get desperate they seek other venue, other ideal, other means... They loose faith in what was the norm. After WWI many country had problem, it was an excellent time for fascism and that can be show with all the dictators that rose to power in those years. We all know Hitler, but Mussolini, Stalin, Franco were all dictators that gain acceptance during these bad times. Because they were telling the people what they wanted to hear. That is, look at my different solution. So Greece is on that trak now... we are tired we are frustrated and we want real change, we've been supporting that mild left or mild right, now we want something that really is a change, we'll go extreme left or extreme right.


* Just a side note about my opinion on war vs economy:
Greece can never recover from their financial crisis because that would not be profitable for those owning the debt. Yes debt is now a commodity that can be brought and exchanged and it has a "value". The only way to solve their financial crysis is to make war. Think... you will see that making war is something extermely profitable. Not only on the financial plan, but also technology gain extreme momentum during war time.
